News: FIS to provide secure card processing solution to Ladbrokes

FIS are pleased to announce that it is to provide its TRANSAXpay card acceptance solution to Ladbrokes across all of their 2,400 UK sites.

The contract, recently signed, is the latest of several that FIS has won in the last 12 months for its TRANSAXpay managed card acceptance solutions, which are based on current scheme guidance and best practice for the encryption and security of card data.

Ladbrokes plc is one of the world’s leading betting and gaming enterprises. It is a market leader in retail bookmaking in the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Spain.

The solution utilises TRANSAXpay software integrated with Ladbrokes POS system. The TRANSAXpay PED application is PA DSS (Payment Application Data Security Standards) accredited. Encrypted card data is routed to the FIS payment gateway for authorisation, settlement and merchant reporting, facilitated within the FIS PCI DSS Level 1 certified environment.
